Swiss International Institute Lausanne (SIIL) has signed an agreement with the world-renowned learning platform edX.
Under this agreement, more than 150 courses from leading universities and companies in 11 countries have been translated into Russian specifically for SIIL students.
Only our students will be able to access courses from universities and companies such as Harvard or IBM, in Russian.
How to get access to edX elective courses
New students. From February 2025, all programs will be supplemented with 10–14 elective courses from edX. If you enroll and start your studies between December 2024 and January 2025, access to these courses will be granted in February.
Current students. From February 2025, around 10 edX elective courses will be integrated into every program. Current students of the institute will be able to access them for an additional fee.
How to purchase access to edX elective courses
New students will be able to study more than 150 additional courses developed by world leaders in education and industry.
Graduates will be able to continue on the edX platform and take selected elective courses as a SIIL graduate student:
- 10 courses in the track you have completed;
- all 150+ courses.
How to purchase access to additional semesters
At SIIL, students need 180 credits for a bachelor's degree and 90 for a master's degree. If 240 credits (bachelor's) or 120 (master's) are required, additional semesters can be purchased. This way you are covered in case your country requires a higher number of credits.
