SIIL status and documents
Institutional accreditation, Bologna-system education, ECTS and open documents let you verify the institute and understand the program structure before making a decision.
Each can be verified independently - no need to contact a manager.
External experts assessed the institute's educational processes, governance, internal quality assurance and other aspects of its work. The result is institutional accreditation by the IAAR agency (certificate AA 0298).
Verify SIIL in the IAAR registryIAAR is a member of ENQA and is registered in EQAR. The status of the accreditation agency itself can be verified in European sources.
SIIL programs are structured according to the Bologna system. Their workload is recorded in ECTS - the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System.
This doctoral program corresponds to the third cycle of higher education.
A university can see the program level, the course list and the total volume of completed study.
The documents show not just the program title, but also its content, duration and workload.
The supplement lists the courses, grades and number of ECTS.
The Bologna system and ECTS make the program structure easy to assess, but by themselves they do not mean automatic recognition of the diploma or admission to another university.
Official documents open in a new tab - you can review and save them yourself.
The document allows the migration service to consider foreign students' applications for temporary residence for study purposes, provided the legal requirements are met. Each application is decided individually.
Institutional accreditation means that external experts assessed the institute as a whole: its educational processes, governance and internal quality assurance - and found them compliant with the agency's standards. It is an assessment of the institute, not of an individual program.
Yes. SIIL's record is published in the open IAAR registry - verification requires no registration or contacting the institute. Open SIIL's record in the registry. The status of the IAAR agency itself can be checked in the European ENQA and EQAR databases.
They make the program “readable” for external assessment: a university or employer sees the program level, course list, workload and total volume of study in clear European units, not just the diploma title.
Accreditation and ECTS are assessment tools: they let a university or employer quickly understand the level, content and workload of a program. Each organization makes its own recognition decision under its own rules and national legislation, so recognition is not automatic. SIIL's open documents make this procedure noticeably easier.
A confirmation letter of inclusion in the list of private educational institutions of the Canton of Vaud (under migration legislation) was issued by the cantonal Population Service on 3 June 2021. It allows the migration service to consider foreign students' applications for temporary residence for study purposes. Each application is decided individually.
